1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the VittaFide app. By installing or using VittaFide, you accept them. If you don't agree, please uninstall the app.
2. What VittaFide Is
VittaFide is an offline tool for keeping your shop's bills, khata (udhar), stock and expenses on your own phone. We run no servers, we have no account for you, and we hold no copy of your data.
3. Your Data and Backups
Your data lives only on your phone. You alone are responsible for making and keeping backups (Device Backup, Portable Backup and Excel export are in Settings → Backup and Export) and for keeping backup files safe. If your phone is lost, reset or damaged, if the app is uninstalled or its storage is cleared, or if you forget your PIN, we cannot recover your data. Back up regularly and keep a copy off the phone.
4. Calculations and Business Compliance
Totals, profit, Apna CA insights and every other figure are calculated on your phone from the numbers you enter. VittaFide is a local calculation and record-keeping tool, and nothing in it is financial, legal or tax advice. You are responsible for the bills you issue, the prices you charge, and following the rules that apply to your business, such as FSSAI registration for a food business.
5. Trust Score and Vasool Raja
The Trust Score is an automatic estimate, worked out on your phone from the payments you have recorded. It is not a credit rating, does not come from any credit bureau, and is never shared by us. Vasool Raja's list is a suggestion of whom to contact first. Don't rely on either as the only reason for a decision about a person. Reminders you send through WhatsApp or other apps are your own messages: keep them polite and lawful.
6. Printers and Other Apps
Bluetooth printers, WhatsApp and the other file-sharing apps you use to print or share bills are made by others, and their own terms apply. We can't promise that every printer works with the app.
7. Fair Use
Use VittaFide only for lawful business records. Don't use it to make false bills or records.
8. No Warranty
VittaFide is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but we don't promise it is free of errors or right for every business. Check important figures before you rely on them.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, VittaFide and its developers are not liable for any loss of data, profit, business or goodwill, for tax penalties or interest, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from using, or being unable to use, the app. Where the law does not allow this to be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app, if any.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms with an app update; the date at the top will change. Using the app after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in India have jurisdiction.
